Jeremy's Caps Lock CSM 1.0.4 What is it?   Power Caps Lock CSM is a Control Strip Module that shows the status of the Caps Lock and other modifier keys. This is useful on some PowerBooks and desktop Macintoshes that don't have an illuminated Caps Lock key. You can also have the CSM play a selectable sound whenever the key is depressed and released. Compatibility The Caps Lock CSM will work on any Macintosh. Installing the Caps Lock CSM If you are using Mac OS 8.5 or earlier, you must drag the Control Strip Module to the Control Strip folder inside your System folder. If you are using Mac OS 8.6 or later, the Mac OS will recognize the Control Strip - merely drag it to your System Folder, and the Mac OS will move it automatically for you. With Mac OS 8.5 or earlier: 1) Open your System folder. 2) Copy the Control Strip Module to the Control Strip Folder in your System folder. 3) Restart your computer. Configuring the Caps Lock CSM Once you've installed the Caps Lock CSM, you can configure it to match your personal preferences.   Main popup menu The popup menu lets you control the appearance of the Control Strip. Show Shift key Displays the status of the shift key. Show Option key Displays the status of the Option key. Show Command key Displays the status of the Command key.
